🧑💻 Origin Story
From O-Chem Tests to Coding
I grew up in San Antonio, TX — born and raised. My original plan was pre-med - chemistry, biology, the whole path. I was pretty much ready to take the MCAT and was already getting ready to schedule my test. But one weekend, a buddy of mine was trying to drag me out for an epic weekend; funny how my road diverged in those woods, and my life was forever changed.
From that point forward, I picked up networking, then discovered I had a natural pull toward software engineering. The MCAT test I never took became the pivot point of my new career as an engineer. Within a few years I was deep in .NET, building systems, and realizing this was what I was supposed to be doing.
Fast forward 24+ years: I've built enterprise applications, engineered data pipelines, integrated AI systems, and launched side projects spanning crypto, community, and content. I'm currently finishing CryptoQT™ — a legitimate crypto intelligence platform — pursuing an electrician's license, and building this site as a living proof of work.
The unified theme in everything I do? I chase ideas that matter. I build things that work. And I don't stop learning and growing.
